No person shall discharge or use, or possess for the purpose of discharging or using, any air gun, air pistol, spring gun, spring pistol or any implement not a firearm which impels with force an object or pellet of any nature or kind. Upon prosecution of any person violating the provisions of this article, the District Justice before whom such case is being heard may infer that the possession of an air gun, air pistol, spring gun, spring pistol or any implement not a firearm which impels with force a pellet of any nature or kind was for the purpose of discharging or using the same.
No person, persons, firm or corporation shall store, sell, offer or expose for sale at retail or have in his, its or their possession with intent to sell any air gun, air pistol, spring gun, spring pistol or any implement not a firearm which impels with force a pellet of any nature or kind within the Township of Ridley.
The Captain of Police of the Township of Ridley is hereby authorized to seize or remove and destroy any air gun, air pistol, spring gun, spring pistol or any implement not a firearm which impels with force a pellet of any nature or kind which shall be used or discharged within the Township of Ridley or which shall be held and possessed in violation of this article.
Nothing herein contained shall be deemed to prohibit the use of fireworks within the Township of Ridley, provided that the explosion and discharge of the same shall be pursuant to a permit issued by the Township of Ridley in accordance with the provisions of the Act of May 15, 1939, P.L. 134.[1]

Except as otherwise provided by state law, every person violating this article shall, upon conviction before a District Justice, be sentenced to pay a fine not exceeding $1,000, together with costs of prosecution, and upon default in the payment thereof, be sentenced to undergo imprisonment for a period not exceeding 30 days.
