[HISTORY: Adopted by the Board of Commissioners of the Town of Bridgeville 12-14-1970 as Ord. No. 923. Amendments noted where applicable.]
No person, firm or corporation shall operate, maintain or conduct a dance hall where dancing is permitted after 12:00 midnight unless a permit to extend beyond 12:00 midnight is first obtained from the Commissioners of Bridgeville.
A permit may be issued extending the hour of any dance beyond 12:00 midnight, where such dance is being operated by any public authority or by a charitable organization, but in no event shall the time extend beyond 2:00 a.m.
After a permit has been issued to extend the dancing time from 12:00 midnight to 2:00 a.m. on Saturday evening, it is mandatory that all dancing shall cease at 2:00 a.m., and under no circumstances are the hours for dancing to be extended beyond the 2:00 a.m. deadline. Dancing will not be permitted on Sunday under any other condition than the two-hour extension described above.
Whoever violates this chapter shall be fined not less than fifty dollars ($50.) nor more than one hundred dollars ($100.).
