As used in this article, the following terms shall have the meanings indicated:
SKATEBOARD
A piece of wood or other material to which wheels are attached.
It shall be unlawful for any person to ride or operate any skateboard on the streets, sidewalks, public parking lots, public areas or on any other municipally owned property in the Town of Bridgeville. Existing Town-owned alleys are exempt from this provision.
A. 
Any person violating any of the provisions of this article, as a first violation, shall have his/her skateboard confiscated for a period of one month and shall perform five hours of community service. The skateboard may be retrieved from the Bridgeville Police Department by the parent(s) or guardian(s) of the owner of the skateboard.
B. 
A second violation of this article shall result in permanent confiscation of the skateboard; the owner shall be required to perform 10 hours of community service.
C. 
Any person violating this article for the third time shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon conviction thereof, shall be fined not less than $50 nor more than $100 and, for a fourth or subsequent offense, shall pay the cost of prosecution as well.
D. 
For the purpose of this article, each day that a violation occurs shall be deemed to be a separate offense.
