The Board of Health of the Borough of Allendale
shall consist of seven members, who shall be residents of the Borough.
The members of said Board shall be nominated
by the Mayor and appointed by him with the advice and consent of the
Council.

The terms of office of the members of the Board
of Health shall be for three years, except that two of the members
first appointed shall hold office for one year, two for two years
and three for three years.
If any vacancy occurs in the membership of said Board, such vacancy shall be filled for the unexpired term only, by nomination and appointment in the manner provided in § 6-2 hereof.[1]
