[Adopted 12-28-1967 as Ch. 72, Art. I of the 1967 Code]
Left-hand turns by operators of motor vehicles are hereby prohibited by traffic moving in a southerly direction on West Crescent Avenue, and traffic moving in a westerly direction on Park Avenue, at the intersection formed by both of said public streets.
The foregoing prohibition shall be clearly indicated by buttons, markers or other directional signs within said intersection and as otherwise provided for by law, and appropriate no-left-turn signs shall be installed as required and in accordance with the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices for Streets and Highways.
Any person violating the terms of this article shall, upon conviction, be subject to the penalties provided for by statute.
This article shall take effect upon passage and publication as provided by law, and upon approval in writing by the Director of Motor Vehicles of the State of New Jersey as provided by N.J.S.A. 39:4-8, and by approval of the Board of Chosen Freeholders of the County of Bergen as evidenced by resolution.[1]
