Whenever any words or phrases are used in this article, the meanings respectively ascribed to them in Subtitle 1 of Title 39 of the Revised Statutes of New Jersey shall be deemed to apply to such words and phrases used herein.
Stop intersections shall be those intersections adequately signed and marked in accordance with the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices for Streets and Highways prepared by the United State Department of Transportation, Federal Highway Administration (MUTCD) and as shown on the approved Site Plan, latest revision dated February 18, 2009, and executed on July 30, 2009, and made a part of this article.[1]

A. 
Vehicles are to park only in designated areas and between painted lines.
B. 
No person shall park a vehicle in any area of the Allendale Town Center for a period of time in excess of four hours, between the hours of 6:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m., which limitations shall apply for seven days of each week.
C. 
No person shall park, stop or stand a vehicle in those areas marked by signage and striping in accordance with the MUTCD and as shown on the approved Site Plan, latest revision date February 18, 2009, and executed on July 30, 2009.
A. 
The following locations are hereby designated as restricted parking spaces for use by persons who have been issued special vehicle identification cards by the Division of Motor Vehicles. No other person shall be permitted to park in these spaces which are indicated on the approved site plan, latest revision date February 18, 2009, and executed on July 30, 2009.[1]

B. 
Violations and penalties. Notwithstanding any other provision of this Code, any person convicted of a violation of § 252-40 of the Code of the Borough of Allendale or any amendment or supplement thereto shall be subject to a fine of $250 for the first offense and, for subsequent offenses, a fine of at least $250 and up to 90 days community service on such terms and in such form as the Court shall deem appropriate, or any combination thereof.
Pedestrian crossings shall be those crossings adequately signed and marked in accordance with the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices for Streets and Highways prepared by the United State Department of Transportation, Federal Highway Administration (MUTCD) and as shown on the approved Site Plan, latest revision date February 18, 2009, and executed on July 30, 2009, and made a part of this article.[1]

Signs and pavement markings shall be installed conforming with the requirements of the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices for Streets and Highways.
Violations are subject to the general penalty provisions of N.J.S.A. 39:4-203, as amended.
