All itinerant dealers in precious metals shall first obtain a license
from the city before conducting that business within the city. An itinerant
dealer is one who does not maintain a place of business within the city on
a regular basis. Precious metals are gold, silver, platinum and similar materials.

To obtain a license, an itinerant dealer shall make application to the
City Council or its authorized representative and pay a license fee of $20
per annum. The application shall include the names, home addresses and photographs
of the owners of the business and all employees within the city, the address
of the principal place of business of the dealer, the address within the city
where business will be conducted and certification from the McKean County
Sealer of Weights and Measures that all scales to be used are accurate. All
itinerant dealers shall register promptly with the Police Department of the
City of Bradford before conducting any business within the city.
Any person who violates this Article shall be subject to a fine not
to exceed $300.
