All stalls, stables, sheds, barns or other places
in which any horse or other domestic animal is kept, must be maintained
in a sanitary condition, subject to the written approval of the Board
of Health.
No person shall engage in the business of keeping
for sale or slaughter in the Borough live chickens, ducks, pigeons,
geese or other domestic fowls.
No person shall keep or allow to be kept in
any building or enclosure or in any premises in the Borough of which
he may be the owner, lessee, tenant or occupant, any live chickens,
geese, ducks, pigeons, other fowl or rabbits, nor within 30 feet of
any dwelling house, school or church, whether same be occupied or
not, nor within 10 feet of any party line at the discretion of the
Board of Health.
No person shall have, keep or allow to be kept
in any building or premises, or on any lot of ground of which he or
they may be owner, tenant, lessee or occupier, any pigs or swine of
any age or description.
Any person, who violates any provision of this
article shall, upon conviction thereof, be punished by a fine of not
less than $2 nor more than $500. A separate offense shall be deemed
committed on each day during or on which a violation occurs or continues.

No person shall keep, harbor or maintain any
dog in the Borough which shall habitually disturb the peace and quiet
of the neighborhood by continuous barking, crying or uttering other
disturbing sounds.
No person owning, keeping or harboring any dog
shall suffer or permit it to soil, defile or commit any nuisance on
any public walk, sidewalk, passageway, bypath, play area, park or
any place where the public congregates or walks, or upon any lawns,
shrubbery or tree on any public property or upon a lawn, shrubbery
or tree on any private property not belonging to the owner or custodian
of said dog; provided, however, for the purpose of this section of
this article the above mentioned restrictions shall not apply to that
portion of the street lying between the curblines which shall be used
to curb said dog.
Any dog found in any place specified in any
section of this article, shall be deemed to be in such place by permission
or order of the owner, harborer or keeper of such dog, and any dog
committing any of the acts specified in any section of this article
shall be deemed to have committed such act by permission or order
of the owner, harborer or keeper of such dog, and such owner, harborer
of such dog, shall be guilty of a violation of this article.
The Health Officer shall have the right to determine
whether the provisions of this article are being followed and obeyed
and in conjunction with this right may enter in or upon any building
or premises. It shall be unlawful for any person or persons to interfere
with any inspection being made by the Health Officer.
Any person who violates any provision of this
