A. 
Designated. The standing committees of the Town Council are designated as follows:
(1) 
Ordinances and resolutions;
(2) 
Purchasing;
(3) 
Public works;
(4) 
Public welfare; and
(5) 
Public safety.
B. 
Designation of Committee Chairman. The President of the Town Council shall appoint the committees of the Council whether standing or special and designate the Chairman thereof, and in default of such designation the member of the Town Council first named on the committee shall be Chairman thereof, and, in case of resignation or inability to serve, the other members in the order in which they were named shall act as Chairman.

A. 
Purpose. The purpose of this section is to encourage the effective interaction of the Town Council and the Town Administrator for the benefit of the residents of the Town of Lincoln.
B. 
Pursuant to § C6-6(11) of the Charter of the Town of Lincoln, the Town Council hereby directs the Town Administrator to attend all regular, special and emergency meetings of the Town Council.
C. 
The Town Administrator shall be afforded the same notice of any such meetings as the members of the Town Council receive.
D. 
The Town Administrator shall be prepared to respond to questions from the Town Council regarding matters pertaining to Town administration at such meetings.
E. 
In the event that the Town Administrator is unable to attend, the Administrator shall designate a representative of the Town administration to attend the above-referenced meetings.
F. 
This representative shall be prepared to answer questions pertaining to Town administration at such meetings.
G. 
The designated individual will receive proper notice from the Town Administrator prior to attending on behalf of the Town Administrator.
