[Adopted as §§ 20-1-20 and 20-1-21 of the 1972 Code (Ch. 17, Art. I, §§ 17-13 and 17-14, of the 1990 Code of Ordinances)]
A. 
The owner, occupant, or any other person having the care of any building or lot of land bordering on any street, highway, square or public place, where there is a raised sidewalk or one supported by curbing, shall within 24 hours after the ceasing to fall of any snow cause the snow to be removed from the sidewalk adjoining such building or lot of land; and in case of neglect so to do the person chargeable with said duty as aforesaid shall, for each and every day after the expiration of such 24 hours that the snow shall remain on the sidewalk, be punished in accordance with Chapter 1, General Provisions, Article II, General Penalty, of the Code of the Town of Lincoln.
B. 
The provisions of this section shall also apply to the falling of snow from any building.
C. 
No owner, occupant, or any other person having care of any building or lot of land shall remove snow from the building or lot of land that they own, occupy or have care for to another lot of land without the permission of the person who owns, occupies or cares for that lot of land.

D. 
No owner, occupant, or any other person having care of any building or lot of land shall remove snow from the building or lot of land that they own, occupy or have care for into a public street or right-of-way so as to cause a hazard or obstruction, including sight obstruction, to vehicular or pedestrian traffic.

E. 
The owner, occupant, or any other person having care of any building or lot of land shall be required to keep any and all fire hydrants located on or adjacent to the lot of land that they own, occupy or have care for clear of all snow and accessible to fire personnel at all times.

F. 
Any violation of the provisions of this section shall be punished by a fine of not more than $100 per day per violation.

A. 
Whenever any sidewalk or any part thereof adjoining any building or lot of land on any street, highway, square or public place, where such sidewalk is raised or supported by curbing, shall be encumbered with ice, it shall be the duty of the owner, occupant or any other person having the care of such building or lot, to cause such sidewalk to be made safe and convenient by removing the ice therefrom, or by covering the same with sand or some other suitable substance.
B. 
In case such person shall neglect so to do during the daytime for a period of five hours after such sidewalk has been so encumbered, he shall be punished in accordance with Chapter 1, General Provisions, Article II, General Penalty, of the Code of the Town of Lincoln.
C. 
No owner, occupant, or any other person having care of any building or lot of land shall remove ice from the building or lot of land that they own, occupy or have care for to another lot of land without the permission of the person who owns, occupies or cares for that lot of land.

D.
