The activities carried on in the Veterans Memorial Community Center located at Fifth and Olivia Streets shall hereinafter be conducted and supervised by the Parks and Recreation Commission acting by and through the Parks and Recreation Director.
To the extent it is necessary to hire employees in conjunction with the activities carried on at Veterans Memorial Community Center, the employees shall be hired by the Mayor and such employees shall serve under the supervision and direction of the Parks and Recreation Department.
The Parks and Recreation Commission shall include within its regular monthly report to the Board of Aldermen, as required by § 7-89 of the Code, a report concerning the activities conducted at the Veterans' Memorial Community Center.
