Subtitle 16 of Title 5 of the Natural Resources Article of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1989 Replacement Volume and 1991 Cumulative Supplement),
as periodically amended, is hereby adopted as and for the Ridgely Forest Conservation
Program.
The Department of Natural Resources (DNR) of the State of Maryland,
and its successor agencies, is hereby designated to perform the requirements
of § 5-1603(c)(3)(i) and (ii) of the Natural Resources Article of
the Annotated Code of Maryland and to administer the Ridgely Forest Conservation
Program, the cost of all of which shall be borne by DNR.
This chapter shall take effect January 1, 1993. Upon passage, the Town
Clerk/Treasurer shall forthwith send a certified true copy of this chapter,
with transmittal letter, to DNR by certified mail, return receipt requested.
