It shall be illegal to place any construction debris out for municipal, or municipally contracted, curbside pickup. It shall similarly be illegal for any municipally contracted garbage hauler, and/or any of its employees, to pickup such material placed out for curbside disposal. The foregoing provisions notwithstanding, a residential homeowner who is personally performing a home repair/remodeling construction project, for which he/she has obtained the proper building permits) from the local construction department, may place one thirty-two-gallon receptacle of construction debris for curbside pickup once per week.
Any violation of the above provision shall be governed in accordance with the general penalty section of this Code.[1]
