WHEREAS, Ch. 110, Laws of 1988, requires that
each municipality establish the position of Chief Financial Officer
of the municipality

Now, therefore, be it ordained by the Mayor
and Board of Commissioners of the Town of West New York that:

The Title of Chief Financial Officer be and
hereby is established pursuant to Ch. 110 of the Laws of 1988 as a
non-civil-service title.
The Chief Financial Officer shall be an officer
of the Town and assigned within to the Department of Revenue and Finance.
The compensation for the administrative title
of Chief Financial Officer shall be as determined at the discretion
of the Mayor and Board of Commissioners of the Town of West New York.
