The Township Council may authorize a cable television company
to operate within the Township on a nonexclusive basis in accordance
with N.J.S.A. 48:5A-1 et seq. as well as N.J.A.C. 14:18-1.1 et seq.
and all relevant federal statutes and regulations. Authority for a
cable television company to operate within the Township shall be granted
by ordinance.
Any existing cable television franchise ordinance shall continue
in effect until expiration.
