A.
Fees. The fees for collection and disposal of garbage
placed for collection at the curb from which collection is made shall
be as follows:
(1)
For each family unit, $127.50 per quarter for the
collection of garbage, except for a senior citizen 65 years and over
living in a separate unit, in which case, the fee shall be $100.50
per quarter.
(2)
For hotels, restaurants, and other businesses and
institutions electing to come under this subsection, $127.50 per quarter
for the collection of garbage. Additional containers shall be collected
at a rate set forth by the Borough in its sole discretion.
B.
The above fees shall be effective September 1, 2023,
and shall be billed quarterly. If bills are not paid within 30 days
of the due date, there shall be added thereto a 10% penalty.
C.
Delinquent charges, accounts and penalties shall be
enforced by legal action in assumpsit and by such other method or
in such manner authorized and permitted by law for the collection
of municipal claims.
