A. 
After each fire or drill, the Captain or officer in charge shall, upon the return of the company to its headquarters, cause a roll call to be made.
B. 
No member shall receive credit for attendance at any fire or drill unless he has answered the roll call or been excused by the officer in charge of his/her company.
C. 
A monthly report of such roll call shall be made to the Chief.
D. 
Each fire company shall maintain emergency response sheets denoting the date, time, location of the fire and attendance of members at said fire or emergency call, together with such other information as the Board of Fire Officers may deem necessary. A copy of said emergency response sheet must be turned over to the Fire Prevention Bureau.
A. 
No fire apparatus shall be taken outside the Borough limits without the express permission of the Fire Commissioner, except pursuant to the terms of the mutual aid agreement, at which time all fire equipment shall be subject to the order of the Chief in charge. At no time shall the apparatus of more than two companies be permitted to be beyond the Borough limits simultaneously.
B. 
In the event that there is a need to remove more than two companies from the Borough limits under the mutual aid agreement, the Chief or officer in charge of the Department at such time must first call for mutual aid assistance and replace the number of pieces of apparatus removed from the Borough limits.
C. 
In the event that Borough apparatus responds to an active fire or emergency in the Borough or is activated as a result of a mutual alarm, the officer in charge will make the arrangements for the Borough Administrator to be notified. The Borough Administrator will then make the appropriate notifications to other officials.
A. 
No apparatus or equipment shall be taken or removed from any firehouse unless at least one member of the fire company in charge thereof shall be present and shall consent thereto.
B. 
No chief shall remove and relocate any equipment from any apparatus to another without the consent and approval of the Fire Board. The chief must have just cause and justification to do the same. It shall be the duty of the chiefs to see that all the equipment purchased is necessary and placed on the proper apparatus. There is not to be duplication of any equipment without the consent and approval of the entire Fire Board. This does not include any day-to-day equipment such as hose and hand tools, but rather fans, saws, extrication tools, etc.
The Mayor, the Chair member of the Fire Committee, the Fire Chiefs and fire company officers shall be the only officials authorized to order fire drills. The Fire Commissioner shall be notified of the drills.
Except in the case of an emergency, no member of any fire company shall drive any automobile apparatus of the Fire Department except the regularly appointed drivers.
No one shall be permitted to ride on fire apparatus unless he/she is a member of the Fire Department.
Any social affairs being conducted by a fire company shall be reported to the Board of Fire Officers in order to avoid a conflict in dates.

If a member of the Dumont Fire Department belongs to another volunteer fire department or ambulance corps, that member will be ineligible to become a Firematic Officer in the Dumont Fire Department (example: Lieutenant through Chief). Excepted from this section is a member that must belong to another volunteer department because his/her contract of employment obligates him/her to do so.
