Each member maintaining an average attendance
of 40% of emergency responses, during a time period consisting of
January 1 to November 30, shall receive a clothing allowance. The
amount of said clothing allowance shall be determined by the Mayor
and Council of the Borough of Dumont. In the event that a member leaves
the Department prior to the end of the calendar year, he or she will
receive clothing allowance based on a prorated credit. The Board will
forward a copy of all percentages to the Borough Administrator with
a copy to the Chief Financial Officer and Fire Liaison.
Each member of the Department shall maintain
at least one full dress uniform as prescribed by the Board of Fire
Officers. Upon entry into the Department, each new member must obtain
a full uniform within one year of the individual's acceptance into
the Department.
