C. Emergency call.

An animal owner may obtain the release of his/her animal impounded
due to an emergency call by the payment of a recovery fee in the amount
of $75.00, which shall be made payable to the Hillsdale Police Department.
No owner or person keeping or harboring a dog/cat shall be permitted
to claim an impounded dog/cat, unless a license and registration tag
can be produced to the Police Department showing dog/cat ownership.

A fee of $75 will be imposed on any and all emergency calls
out when the Borough incurs a payment for an emergency call out from
the Borough's service provider for such. This amount shall be due
and payable by the animal's owner or animal's responsible party that
caused that emergency call out to occur.

The Department of Community Affairs has adopted a mechanical
subcode related to single-family residential dwellings. This subcode
eliminates the combination plumbing and fire subcode permits, therefore
reduces the number of inspectors necessary to perform inspections
on related work. The proposed mechanical subcode fees are necessary
to comply with the requirements of the Uniform Construction Code and
are structured so as not to exceed the fees of the current combined
plumbing and fire.
