It is the desire of the Borough Council of the Borough of Tarentum in the County of Allegheny and Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and said Council hereby signifies its intention to organize a Parking Authority under the Parking Authority Law of June 5, 1947, P.L. 458, as amended.[1]

In pursuance of said desire and intention, and in conformity with the terms and provisions of said Parking Authority Law and its amendments, the proposed Articles of Incorporation are hereby set forth in full, as follows.[1]

The proposed Articles of Incorporation of said Authority shall be executed by and on behalf of the Borough of Tarentum, by the Mayor and President of Council of said borough, and the seal of said borough shall be thereto affixed, attested by the Secretary of the Council of said borough and filed with the Secretary of the commonwealth. The Solicitor is hereby authorized and directed to cause to be published the notice of intention to file the Articles of Incorporation with the Secretary of the Commonwealth as required by the aforementioned Act.

It is the desire of the governing body of this municipality and said governing body hereby signifies its intention to organize a Joint Municipal Authority, under the Municipality Authorities Act of May 2, 1945, P.L. 382, as amended,[1] together with the other incorporating municipalities, all of which incorporating municipalities consist of the Borough of Brackenridge, Borough of Tarentum, Township of East Deer and Township of Harrison, all of Allegheny County, Pennsylvania.

The proposed Articles of Incorporation of said Authority shall be executed by and on behalf of this municipality by the President of Council, the seal of said Municipality shall be thereto affixed and attested by the Secretary, and the same shall be approved by the Mayor. The Solicitor is authorized and directed to cause to be published the Notice of Intention to File the Articles of Incorporation as required by the aforementioned Act, and when said Articles of Incorporation are properly executed by the incorporating municipalities, the same shall be filed with the Secretary of the Commonwealth.
