Editor's Note: This local law also provided
for the repeal of former Ch. 26, Common Council, adopted 8-7-1984
by L.L. No. 3-1984, approved 8-28-1984, as Ch. 129 of the 1984 Code.
The President of the Common Council shall establish
the rules for governing the procedures and committee makeup of the
Common Council.
No standing rule or order of the Common Council
shall be changed, suspended or rescinded except by the affirmative
vote of at least 2/3 of the members elected to the Common Council.
