Editor's Note: This local law also provided for the repeal of former
Ch. 335, Sales of Merchandise, adopted 8-7-1984 by L.L. No. 3-1984, approved
8-28-1984, as Ch. 97 of the 1984 Code.
It shall be lawful for any authorized organization, upon obtaining a
license as provided in Article 29-F of the General Business Law, to conduct
going-out-of-business sales of merchandise within the City of Kingston, subject
to the provisions of this chapter and Article 29-F of the General Business
Law.
The Clerk of the City of Kingston shall exercise control over and supervision
of all going-out-of-business sales of merchandise.
