City of Meriden, CT Article I Apportionment Between First and Second Taxation Districts for Police and Fire Departments

§ 187-1 Apportionment by district.

Ninety-five percent of the money required to be expended for care and maintenance of the Police and Fire Departments of the City shall be raised by taxation upon the inhabitants and property within the First Taxation District and 5% of the money so required to be expended shall be raised by taxation upon the inhabitants and property within the Second Taxation District.
