Editor's Note: This local law was approved by the voters in a mandatory referendum held 3-20-1979.
This chapter shall be known as the "Games of Chance Licensing Law."
The definitions as set forth in Article 9-A of the General Municipal Law of the State of New York are incorporated in this chapter as if set forth in full herein.
Subject to the provisions contained herein, the rules and regulations of the New York State Racing and Wagering Board, the provisions of Article 9A of the General Municipal Law and the Constitution of the State of New York and all amendments to the aforesaid Constitution, statutes, rules and regulations, it shall be lawful for any authorized organizations, upon obtaining a license therefor under the provisions of this chapter, to conduct games of chance within the territorial limits of the Village of Mount Morris. Said games of chance may be conducted on Sunday also.
The provisions of Article 9-A of the General Municipal Law and any amendments thereto shall control the licensing of organizations and conducting of games of chance in the Village of Mount Morris, and this chapter incorporates all of the provisions of said statute by reference as if set forth in full herein.
