Owners of property within the corporate limits of the Village of Mount Morris, New York, who are the owners of what are commonly known as "poplar trees," and which said trees are growing within 50 feet of any sewer line, main or lateral, be and they are hereby ordered and directed to remove or cause to be removed said poplar trees within 60 days after the service of a copy of this article upon them.
Any person who violates any provision of this article shall, upon conviction thereof, be subject to a fine not to exceed $250 or to imprisonment for a term not to exceed 15 days, or both.
