All accessory structures shall be maintained in conformity with any or all regulations of this chapter which are applicable.
All garages, attached or detached, all barns, sheds, toolhouses, workshops, hothouses, greenhouses or any other outbuilding shall be maintained in a safe and sound structural condition.
A. 
Porches, open or closed, shall be maintained in a safe condition, on a firm foundation, with solid framing and with floors free of openings larger than 1/2 inch. Posts and railings must be in good condition, well secured and reasonably plumb or level. Supporting and framing members of the roof shall be sound and of dimension to carry the load normally imposed. Roofing material shall be maintained so as to be free of leaks at any location, including flashing against the building. Porch steps shall be firm and free of any physical hazard.
B. 
Roofs or breezeways shall be firmly supported by or secured to the buildings which are connected by the roof and shall be maintained to be free of any physical hazard.
C. 
Roof covers over terraces, patios or carports may be either combustible or noncombustible material. Supports and framing members shall be sound, of adequate dimension and firmly secured. The roof-covering material shall be maintained to shed water and to be free of any physical hazard.
D. 
Metal or other permanent-type awnings over doors, entrances or windows shall be well secured in place and maintained in a safe condition so as to prevent any physical hazard.
