As used in this article, the following terms shall have the
meanings indicated:
FEED
To give, place, expose, deposit, distribute or scatter any
edible material with the intention of feeding, attracting or enticing
wildlife. Feeding does not include baiting in the legal taking of
fish and/or game.
PERSON
Any individual, corporation, company, partnership, firm,
association, or political subdivision of this state subject to municipal
jurisdiction.
WATERFOWL
Water birds including, but not limited to, Canada geese,
sea gulls, ducks and swans.
WILDLIFE
All animals that are neither human nor domesticated.

A. No person shall feed, cause to be fed, or provide food for any wildlife
in any public park or on any other property owned or operated by the
Borough of Red Bank, excluding confined wildlife (for example, wildlife
confined in zoos, parks or rehabilitation centers, or unconfined wildlife
at environmental education centers).
B. No person or persons shall feed, cause to be fed, or provide food
for any waterfowl within the Borough of Red Bank on property either
publicly or privately owned.

This article shall not be construed to prohibit humane acts
toward all wildlife or waterfowl in individual cases, such as the
temporary nurturing of a wounded bird on one's own premises, and authorized
wildlife management activities.

No person shall abandon, leave or discard any wildlife or waterfowl
upon any public or private property within the Borough.
The Police Department, Code Enforcement Office and Board of
Health are hereby authorized and directed to enforce the provisions
of this article.
Any person who violates or neglects to comply with any provisions of this article or any rule or regulation promulgated thereto shall be punishable upon conviction thereof by a penalty as provided in Chapter
1, General Provisions, Article
II, General Penalty.
