Any person in violation of the article will result in the individual being responsible for a municipal civil infraction and subject to the fines and costs as set forth in §
1-13 of the Code of Ordinances of Grosse Ile Township.

The following regulations shall be observed when using the Grosse
Ile Parkway/East River Road End:
A. The Grosse Ile Parkway/East River Road Waterfront Area may only be
used between dawn and dusk. "Dawn" shall be defined as the actual
time of sunrise for that particular day the Grosse Ile Parkway/East
River Road Waterfront Area is being used, and "dusk" shall be defined
as the actual time of sunset for that particular day the Grosse Ile
Parkway/East River Road Waterfront Area is being used. The site will
be closed during winter months as determined by the Township.
B. No alcoholic beverages or glass bottles are allowed on the premises.
D. Bonfires, littering, camping, fishing, hunting, and docking of motorized
boats is prohibited on or from the shore.
F. Kayak, canoe, and nonmotorized watercraft launching and landing will
be permitted.
G. Dogs are permitted while on a leash no longer than six feet.
A sign shall be posted on the premises setting forth these regulations.
The Community Recreation Commission (CRC) shall be responsible
for the oversight of the Grosse Ile Parkway/East River Road Waterfront
Park.
Penalties for violation of this article shall be punishable as provided in Chapter
1, Article
II, Municipal Civil Infractions.
