The fire apparatus and fire-fighting equipment owned by the said Borough of Seaside Park shall not be taken outside the Borough limits of the said Borough by any person or persons without first obtaining the consent of the Borough Council of the said Borough expressed in a duly adopted resolution thereof, except as hereinafter provided.
The Seaside Park Volunteer Fire Company No. 1, by its proper officers and members, may from time to time, in case of emergency, take said fire apparatus and fire-fighting equipment into any neighboring municipality to render aid in the extinguishment of fire, when such aid shall have been requested by the officials of such municipality, or by the officers of the fire department thereof; provided, however, that such municipality or the fire department thereof shall have agreed to bring its fire apparatus and fire-fighting equipment into the said Borough of Seaside Park, in case of emergency, to render aid in the extinguishment of fire, whenever such aid may have been requested by the officials of the said Borough or by the officers of the said Seaside Park Volunteer Fire Company No. 1.
Nothing herein contained shall be construed to prohibit the taking of the fire apparatus and fire-fighting equipment of the said Borough of Seaside Park outside the limits thereof by persons having the lawful custody of such apparatus and equipment, for the purpose of having the same repaired.

Any person who violates any one or more sections of this chapter shall be subject to the general penalty in Chapter 1, Article II, General Penalty, of the Borough Code.
