This local law shall be known as the "Board of Appeals Law."
It is the intent of the Town Board, pursuant to the Municipal
Home Rule Law of the State of New York, to supersede § 267,
Subdivision 5, of the Town Law of the State of New York, in relation
to the length of the terms of office of members of the Board of Appeals
of the Town of Hempstead.
The terms of office of members of the Board of Appeals shall
be five years.
