It is hereby declared and established, pursuant to N.J.S.A.
39:4-1, that restricted parking spaces be established and designated
for the benefit of handicapped persons who have been issued special
vehicle identification cards, pursuant to N.J.S.A. 39:4-205, when
using a motor vehicle on which is displayed a certificate in accordance
with the identification card. The spaces shall be designated from
time to time by the Police Department of the Borough of Hillsdale
under authorization granted under N.J.S.A. 39:4-197, subject to the
following.
Two schedules shall be maintained by the Police Department to
designate restricted parking spaces hereunder as follows:
Each of the parking spaces referred to on the respective schedules
shall conform to the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices for
streets and highways approved by the State of New Jersey Department
of Transportation.
The Municipal Court of the Borough of Hillsdale shall have jurisdiction
to hear and dispose of complaints alleging a violation of this article.
For a violation of any provision of this article, the penalties
shall be as provided under N.J.S.A. 39:4-197.
