Editor's Note: This local law was subject to a permissive

The annual salary of the Superintendent of Highways for the
Town of Frankfort shall be increased from $25,660 to $28,160 for the
1997 fiscal year.

A.
The Town of Frankfort presently has one Assessor serving at an advertised
annual salary of $17,850 for calendar year 1992.
B.
The Town Board understands and recognizes that in calendar year 1991,
the Assessor received additional compensation for serving as project
administrator for the real property revaluation project, which additional
compensation had erroneously been eliminated from the 1992 final budget
due to the belief that such additional services were no longer required.
C.
As there is a continuing need to obtain the services of a project
administrator for the real property revaluation project, the Town
Board shall increase the salary of the Assessor to compensate for
the performance of said duties for calendar year 1992 from $17,850
to $18,870.
