It shall be unlawful for any person to engage in killing any animal other than as prescribed by law in the Village.
A. 
Firearm defined. For purposes of this section, the term "firearm" shall mean and include any shotgun, rifle, pistol, revolver, B-B gun, air gun, CO2 gun, bow and arrow, or other similar weapon.
B. 
No person shall:
(1) 
Kill, take or wound, or attempt to kill, take or wound any wild animal within the Village with any firearm;
(2) 
Hunt, pursue, harass or disturb in any manner, any wild bird, wild game, or wild animal within the Village with any firearm with the intent to use same within the Village.
C. 
Exemption. The acts prohibited in Subsection B above shall not apply to any officer of the law, while in the performance of his duty, or to persons lawfully summoned by an officer to assist in making arrests or preserving the peace, while so engaged in assisting such officer, or to any citizen discharging a firearm when lawfully defending his person or property.
D. 
Seizure. Any police officer shall seize any firearm used in violation of this section and, upon conviction of a violation of this section, such firearm shall be confiscated and destroyed as provided by law.
It shall be unlawful to carry any concealed weapons in the Village in violation of the laws of this state.[1]

It shall be unlawful to cast, throw, or propel any missile on any street, alley or other public place; and it shall be unlawful to throw or deposit any glass, nails, tacks, or other similar articles on any street, sidewalk, alley or other public place in the Village.[1]

Discharge a firearm in the Village;
(2) 
Have on their person or in a motor vehicle, while on any public street, sidewalk, road, highway, or other public property within the Village, any firearm, unless such firearm is unloaded and enclosed in a case suitable for transportation, or if not so encased, then broken down in a nonfunctioning state.
C. 
Exemption. The acts prohibited in Subsection B above shall not apply where otherwise permitted by law.
D. 
Seizure. Any police officer shall seize any firearm used or transported in violation of this section and, upon conviction of a violation of this section, such firearm shall be confiscated and destroyed as provided by law.
