A certain document, one (1) copy of which is on file in the office of the City Clerk of the City of Breckenridge Hills, Missouri, being marked as "The International Building Code, 2000" as published by the Building Officials and Code Administrators International, Inc., be and is hereby adopted as the "Building Code of the City of Breckenridge Hills, Missouri",: for the control of buildings and structures as herein provided; and each and all of the regulations, provisions, penalties, conditions and terms of said "International Building Code" are hereby referred to, adopted and made a part hereof, as if fully set out in the Article, with the additions, insertions and changes, if any, as provided in Section 500.040.

The following Sections are hereby revised as follows:
Section 101.1 Insert: "City of
Breckenridge Hills" (for name of jurisdiction).
Section 112.3.1 Insert: "See Section 500.020 of the Municipal Code."
Section 116.4 Insert: "Misdemeanor"
(for offense); "Five hundred dollars ($500.00)" (for amount); "ninety
(90) days" (for number of days).
Section 117.2 Insert: "One dollar
($1.00)" (for first (1st) amount); and "five hundred dollars ($500.00)"
(for second (2nd) amount).
Section 3408.2 Insert: (effective
date of Building Code).
Any person who shall violate a provision of the code adopted
in this Article or shall fail to comply with any of the requirements
thereof or who shall erect, construct, alter or repair a building
or structure in violation of an approved plan of or directive of the
Code Official, or of a permit or certificate issued under the provision
of this code, shall be guilty of an ordinance violation, punishable
by a fine of not more than one thousand dollars ($1,000.00) or by
imprisonment not exceeding three (3) months, or both such fine and
imprisonment. Each day that a violation continues after due notice
has been served shall be deemed a separate offense.
