§ 24-56 through § 24-59. (Reserved)

§ 24-60 Officers authorized to execute contracts and agreements.

A. The following officers of the Town are hereby authorized and designated, in addition to the Supervisor, to execute on behalf of the Town any contract or agreement that has been authorized by the Town Board or applicable law:

(1) Chief of Staff.

(2) Director of Operations.

(3) Director of Finance.

B. Such officers shall exercise such authority only upon specific designation by the Supervisor providing the dates during which such authority may be exercised.

§ 24-61 Severability.

If any clause, sentence, paragraph, subdivision, or part of this article or the application thereof to any person or circumstance shall be adjudged by any court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid or unconstitutional, such order or judgment shall not affect, impair, or invalidate the remainder thereof, but shall be confined in its operation to the clause, sentence, paragraph, subdivision, or part of this article or in its application to the person or circumstance directly involved in the controversy in which such judgment or order shall be rendered.

§ 24-62 When effective.

This article shall take effect immediately upon filing with the Secretary of State.
