No person, firm or corporation shall operate any slaughterhouse
within the corporate limits of the City of Albany, Missouri, without
first obtaining permission of the Board of Aldermen to erect, establish
or operate such slaughterhouse. Such person, firm or corporation shall
agree to conform to all rules and regulations pertaining to the sanitary
conditions of such slaughterhouse and shall comply with all rules
and regulations of the United States Government and the State of Missouri
in the operation of the same.

Any person, firm or corporation operating any slaughterhouse
in Albany, Missouri, shall permit the Board of Health to inspect said
premises at any reasonable time.

Any and every person who shall violate any of the provisions
hereof shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction
thereof shall be fined not less than five hundred dollars ($500.00)
or be imprisoned in the City Jail, not to exceed ninety (90) days,
or by both such fine and imprisonment. Each and every violation of
the provisions of this Chapter shall constitute a separate offense.
