Upon the laying of a sidewalk, the permit holder shall notify the Director of Public Works or Building Inspector, who shall inspect the sidewalk to determine whether it conforms with the requirements of the permit. If the sidewalk does not conform, the Director of Public Works shall order the work to be removed and replaced in accordance with specifications on file with the Village Clerk within 20 days after the service of a written notice ordering such removal.
