A. The St. Louis County Building, Residential, Existing Building, Mechanical,
Electrical, Plumbing, Explosives and Property Maintenance Codes, as
amended by the County of St. Louis, Missouri, through the date of
last amendatory ordinances:

Existing Building (County Ordinance 24,444 — Approved

4.
Mechanical (County Ordinance 24,438 — Approved July 14,
2010).

Electrical (County Ordinance 24,439 — Approved July 14,

Plumbing (County Ordinance 24,441 — Approved July 14,
2010).
7.
Explosives Code, Chapter 711, SLCRO 22,015 (Approved 09/14/04),
as amended.

B. The codes, respectively, are hereby adopted as the Building, Residential,
Existing Building, Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Explosives and
Property Maintenance Codes of the City of Bel-Ridge, Missouri, as
if fully set out herein.

A. Where, by any provision of any ordinance of the City of Bel-Ridge,
any provision of this Code, or any rule or regulation promulgated
pursuant thereto, the doing of or the failure to do any thing or act
is prohibited, declared to be an ordinance violation, an offense or
unlawful, and no other penalty or punishment is provided therefor,
the same shall be punishable by a fine not to exceed five hundred
dollars ($500.00) or a jail sentence not to exceed ninety (90) days
or by both such fine and jail sentence unless a lesser penalty be
required by Missouri law, in which event the penalty shall not exceed
such lesser penalty, any City ordinance to the contrary notwithstanding.
"Misdemeanor" shall be construed to mean a violation of any ordinance
of the City.
B. Except as otherwise provided, every day any such violation shall
continue shall constitute a separate offense.
