The Mayor and the Police of the Borough, or any of them, shall have power in case of fire to disperse all collections of idle, disorderly or suspicious persons and otherwise to preserve order and to prevent the commission of offenses on such occasions; and any person who interferes with or refuses to obey any such officer in the discharge of this authority shall be guilty of an offense and, upon conviction, shall be sentenced to pay a fine of not less than $50 or more than $1,000 and costs of prosecution and, in default of payment of fine and costs, to undergo imprisonment for not more than 30 days.

No person not actually engaged in the extinguishment of a fire or the saving of persons or property endangered thereby shall enter any building on fire or being protected against the spread of fire, either during or after that fire, without the consent of the owner or occupant of the building. Any person who violates any provision of this section shall, upon conviction, be sentenced to pay a fine of not less than $200 or more than $1,000 and costs of prosecution and, in default of payment of fine and costs, to undergo imprisonment for not more than 30 days.

No person shall remove or make use of any fire apparatus or fire equipment belonging to the Borough of Vandergrift or to any fire company located in the Borough, other than for the purposes for which it is intended, without authority of Borough Council or the proper committee of Council or shall deface or injure the same or any part thereof. Any person who violates any provision of this section shall, upon conviction, be sentenced to pay a fine of not less than $200 or more than $1,000 and costs of prosecution, in addition to damages occasioned to such apparatus or equipment as a result of or in the course of such violation. In default of payment of the fine and costs, the violator shall undergo imprisonment for not more than 30 days.
It shall be the duty of every person, firm or corporation having charge of any fire hydrant or gas or water stop cock box to keep the same in good repair and ready for use in case of emergency. Failure to comply with any of the provisions of this section shall constitute a violation thereof, and any person, firm or corporation violating any provision of this section shall, upon conviction thereof, be sentenced to pay a fine of not more than $25 and costs of prosecution and, in default of payment of such fine and costs, to imprisonment in the County Jail for not more than 30 days.
