The following memberships shall be available for purchase each season
and each such membership so purchased shall be valid for the length
of the season in which the membership is purchased:
Resident - Family Membership: includes two parents (mother and father,
civil union couple and/or domestic partners) and two or more children
who are residents of the Township of Haddon.
Nonresident - Family Membership: includes two parents (mother and
father, civil union couple and/or domestic partners) and two or more
children who are not residents of the Township of Haddon.
Nonresident - Individual Membership: includes any single person or
individual over the age of four years who is not a resident of the
Township of Haddon.
Caregiver Membership: includes a membership for one person who qualifies as a caregiver pursuant to the definition of same as set forth in § 99-2 of this chapter.
Daily admission passes shall be available for purchase, and shall
be required for access and use of the pool, by guests of members and
nonmembers other than guests of members. The types of daily admission
passes shall include guest pass, single daily admission for residents
and single daily admission for nonresidents.
The membership fee(s) for each type of membership and each type of
daily admission pass shall be established annually by resolution of
the governing body.
All members shall be issued a tag which shall be required for admission
to the pool area. All daily admission pass holders shall be issued
a daily admission pass and/or such other proper identification which
shall be required for admission to the pool area.
The following persons, groups and/or classes of individuals shall
be entitled to payment of a reduced fee as set forth below in the
amount established by the governing body in the annual fee resolution:
Licensed day-care centers operating within the Township of Haddon:
reduced daily rate per person so long as proof of insurance is supplied
and the daily rate for lifeguards is also paid;
Memberships and daily admission passes are nonrefundable and nontransferrable.
Membership tags and daily admission passes shall be used only by the
person in whose name same was issued.
All tags and daily admission identification shall be prominently
displayed by the person in whose name same is issued and shall be
available at all times for inspection upon request of the Pool Manager
and/or any lifeguard, pool volunteer and/or other person designated
by the Pool Manager and/or Township as having authority to enforce
the provisions of this chapter.
The governing body shall adopt, by resolution, rules and regulations
governing the use and enjoyment of the Crystal Lake Pool. The rules
and regulations shall be included in the Crystal Lake Pool Handbook
prepared by the Pool Manager, which handbook shall be issued to members
and daily admission pass holders. A copy of the handbook also shall
be maintained on file in the office of the Township Clerk.
It shall be a condition of admission that all persons permitted to
enter the pool area, including without limitation members, guests
of members and daily admission pass holders, are subject to and shall
be required to comply with the rules and regulations adopted by the
governing body, as same may be amended from time to time. The Pool
Manager shall have the authority to remove from the pool area and/or
revoke the membership or daily admission pass of any person found
to be in violation of the rules and regulations governing the use
and enjoyment of the pool and/or any requirement and/or other provision
of this chapter.
Any person who previously was removed from the pool area for violating
the rules and regulations governing the use and enjoyment of the pool
in accordance with this section shall not be entitled to the privilege
of membership and/or daily admission to the pool in any future year,
and the Township and/or Pool Manager may refuse to issue a membership
and/or admission to all such persons.
