Licenses — See Ch. 100.
No person shall engage in the business commonly known as the "junk business" or in the buying or gathering in the streets or public places of the Village or offering to buy or gather any personal property or articles of merchandise commonly referred to as "junk" without first obtaining an annual license therefor.
In addition to the information required of the applicant under the provisions of § 100-2, every applicant hereunder shall set forth in a sworn statement the following details:
A. 
The exact location where he will store the junk he accumulates.
B. 
The number, year of manufacture, model and license number of the vehicle in which he proposes to make his collections of junk.
C. 
The place where such vehicles are regularly stored or garaged.

The license fee hereunder for any year or fraction thereof shall be as set by the Board of Trustees.[1]

Each violation of this chapter shall be punishable by a fine of not to exceed $250 or by imprisonment for not more than 15 days, or both.
