[HISTORY: Adopted by the Mayor and Council of the Borough of Roselle as Ch. 69 of the 1975 Borough Code. Amendments noted where applicable.]

It shall be unlawful to sell or dispense food and beverages from a mechanical vending device and to erect, operate or maintain such a mechanical device; provided, however, that the sale or dispensing of food and beverages from such a device and the erection, operation and maintenance of such a device shall be permitted in stores, factories, schools, offices, clubs, lodges, community centers, recreational buildings, charitable institutions, personal service establishments and buildings of public assembly or immediately adjacent to such facilities but in no event forward of the building line.

Any person violating any of the provisions of this chapter shall, upon conviction thereof, be fined a sum not exceeding $500 or be imprisoned in the county jail for a period not exceeding 90 days, or both.
