It shall be unlawful for anyone to assist, aid, abet, allow, permit, suffer or encourage a student to register or enroll in the Roselle school system where the student is ineligible to attend as a result of his nonresident status.
It shall be unlawful for any person to knowingly permit his or her name, address or other residence-designating documentation to be utilized in the registration or enrollment of any nonresident student in the Roselle school system unless previous approval has been granted in accordance with law by the Superintendent of Schools of the Roselle school system or his or her designee.

Any person violating or failing to comply with any of the provisions of this article shall, upon conviction thereof, be punished by a fine of not less than $1,000 nor more than $2,000 or by imprisonment for a period not to exceed 180 days, or both.
