Borough of Roselle, NJ Article IV Mayoral Advisory Committee for Roselle First Workforce Initiative

§ 14-14 Creation.

Hereby established is the Mayoral Advisory Committee for the Roselle First Workforce Initiative (the "Committee").

§ 14-15 Appointment of members.

The members of the Committee shall be appointed by the Mayor.

§ 14-16 Composition of membership.

The Committee shall consist of no more than three persons who shall be representatives of local businesses, unions, the Chamber of Commerce and such similar organizations from the Borough of Roselle. Said members are not required to be residents of the Borough of Roselle, but must be associated with a business in the Borough of Roselle. The Mayor shall be an ex-officio member of the Committee.

§ 14-17 Length of terms.

Each member shall be appointed for a three-year term which shall commence on January 1 of the year of appointment, and end on December 31 of the final year of the term. Such terms shall be staggered so the term of no more than two members shall expire in any one year. Therefore, the initial terms of the Committee members shall be for a one-year term for one member, a two-year term for two members, and a three-year term for the remainder of the Committee members. The initial terms shall be designated by the Mayor at the time of appointment.
