It shall be unlawful for any person within the confines of the Borough of Waldwick to violate the public order and decorum or to create a disturbance of the public tranquility by any act or conduct inciting to violence or tending to provoke or excite others to break the peace, or by an act which, by causing consternation and alarm, disturbs the peace and quiet of the community.
2. 
For a violation of this chapter, it shall not be necessary for the actual commotion or disturbance to occur; rather, it is sufficient if the conduct is likely to annoy members of the public, arouse the anger of members of the public or disturb the peace.
3. 
Acts which shall be considered as disturbing the peace include but are not limited to disorderly or boisterous conduct, use of abusive or indecent language in public, engaging in lewd or indecent behavior, and creating any loud disturbing noise which injures or endangers the comfort, repose, peace or safety of any individual.

This ordinance shall take effect upon passage and publication as provided by law.
