The owner of any multiple dwelling, townhouse development, nursing
home, office building, shopping center, mobile home or trailer park
and the owner of any property within the Township to which the public
is invited for business purposes shall remove all snow and ice from
the roads, lanes and driveways, parking areas, walkways, steps and
fire hydrants located upon such property within six hours of daylight
after any snowfall or accumulation of ice occurs. In the event that
ice may be so frozen as to make removal impracticable, the owner shall
cause the aforementioned areas to be effectively covered with sand,
ashes, sawdust or rock salt within six hours of daylight after the
accumulation of such ice.

Any property owner who fails to comply with any requirement of this article or who violates any provision of this article shall, upon conviction, be subject to the general penalty provisions of §
1-15 of Chapter
1, General Provisions, of this Code, and every day that a violation of this article continues shall be considered a separate offense.
All members of the Township Police Department, all special officers
and members of the Township Department of Public Works are authorized
to file complaints for violations of this article.
