Town of Wrentham, MA Chapter 110 Appeals, Board of

§ 110-1 Establishment, authority, membership and terms.

A. There shall be a standing committee known as the "Board of Appeals" as authorized by MGL c. 40A, § 12.

B. The Board shall be comprised of five members, who shall be appointed by the Select Board. The term of appointment shall be five years.

C. The Board shall also be comprised of up to three associate members, who shall be appointed by the Select Board. The term of appointment shall be three years.

§ 110-2 Role and responsibility.

The Board of Appeals shall have the powers as specified in MGL c. 40A, § 14, as amended. Furthermore, the Board of Appeals shall act as the Board of Appeals for the Planning Board under the provisions of MGL c. 41, §§ 81Z through 81CC, as amended.
