A. 
No person shall, with purpose to hinder the prosecution, conviction or punishment of another for an offense, provide false information to a law enforcement officer.
B. 
No person shall, with the purpose to hinder that person's own apprehension, prosecution, conviction or punishment, provide false information to a law enforcement officer.
