This chapter shall be known and may be cited as the "Subdivision
Review and Approval Ordinance of the Borough of Neptune City."

A.
The definitions as set forth in the Municipal Land Use Law, Chapter
291, Laws of New Jersey 1975, (N.J.S.A. 40:55D-1 et seq.), are incorporated
herein by reference unless otherwise defined herein.
B.
Whenever a term is used in this chapter which is defined in N.J.S.A.
40:55D-1 et seq., such term is intended to have the meaning set forth
in the definition of such term found in such statute unless the contrary
intention is clearly expressed from the context of this chapter or
by definition in this chapter.
C.
For purposes of this chapter and as provided for by the Municipal
Land Use Law, Chapter 291, Laws of New Jersey 1975 (N.J.S.A. 40:55D-3),
the term "administrative officer" shall mean the Borough Engineer
as appointed by the Mayor and Borough Council. Except as modified
by this chapter or elsewhere in the Code of the Borough of Neptune
City, the administrative officer shall have all of the responsibilities
and duties set forth in the Municipal Land Use Law, Chapter 291, Laws
of New Jersey 1975 (N.J.S.A. 40:55D-1 et seq.).
