The goal of the community sign is to provide a source for local nonprofits, civic organizations and government to inform the public of community events.
A. 
All requests must go through the Village office in writing. The forms may be obtained in the Village office or online at www.bloomfieldny.org.
B. 
All requests are processed on a first-come-first-served basis.
C. 
Municipal events take precedence over nonmunicipal events.
A. 
The Village reserves the right to refuse any inappropriate content, such as:
(1) 
Comments containing vulgar or threatening language.
(2) 
Personal attacks of any kind.
(3) 
Content that promotes, fosters, or perpetuates discrimination on the basis of race, creed, color, age, religion, gender, marital status, status with regard to public assistance, national origin, physical or mental disability or sexual orientation.
(4) 
Comments not relevant to topic or unintelligible comments.
(5) 
Spam or links to other sites.
(6) 
Conduct or encouragement of illegal activity.
(7) 
Information that may tend to compromise the safety or security of the public or public systems.
(8) 
Content that violates a legal ownership interest of any other party.
(9) 
Comments that include personally identifiable medical information.
(10) 
Comments that promote particular services, products, or political organizations or causes.
B. 
The Village reserves the right to edit or limit the size of the message.
C. 
Community events will be posted no more than one week in advance.
